Nd:YLF is a premium laser gain medium prized for its exceptional thermal and optical properties. With a tetragonal structure and natural birefringence, it exhibits weak thermal lensing due to its negative thermal refractive coefficient, enabling superior output beam quality compared to Nd:YAG . It features broad transparency (180–6700 nm), long fluorescence lifetime (485 μs), and emits orthogonally polarized dual wavelengths at 1047 nm (π-polarized) and 1053 nm (σ-polarized) . These properties make Nd:YLF ideal for mode-locked lasers, Q-switched systems, and high-power amplifiers . Our company offers fully customized Nd:YLF crystals with flexible doping concentrations (0.01–2.0 at.%), orientations (a-cut or c-cut), dimensions, and anti-reflective coatings tailored to your specific application requirements .
